We take copyright seriously in both directions – we don’t want our work republished without permission, and we don’t want anyone else’s on our site without theirs.

Reporting a copyright concern

If you believe material on stylicasa.com infringes your copyright, contact us and we will act on it.

You do not need a lawyer, and you do not need to send a formal legal notice to get our attention. A plain email describing the problem is enough for us to look into it and, where appropriate, remove the material.

  2. Which material you’re referring to – for images, describing its position on the page or attaching a screenshot is ideal
  3. Where it was originally published, or how you can be identified as the rights holder

  5. How to reach you

Our commitment: we acknowledge every copyright email within 2 business days and act on valid concerns promptly. If you ask for removal, we remove it. We won’t argue you out of a request about your own work.

Formal DMCA notice

If you prefer to submit a formal notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, send it to our designated agent with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the exact URL where it appears
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on their behalf

Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice can make you liable for damages.

Counter-notice

If material you submitted to this site – such as a comment – was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live (or, if outside the United States, the District of Montana), and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice

Repeat infringers

We will terminate site access and remove content from any contributor who is determined to be a repeat infringer of copyright.

The original articles, layout, design, logo, and the Styli Casa name are owned by Niche Bloggers LLC or licensed to us.

  • Read, save, and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use
  • Link to any page on this site
  • Quote a short excerpt for commentary or review, with credit to Styli Casa and a link to the original page
  • Pin our images to Pinterest, where a Pin It button is provided, provided the pin links back to the original article
