Styli Casa is a free website. We keep it that way by earning money from advertising and from affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works, so you know what you’re reading and what our incentives are.
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. You never pay more because of it. The price is the same as it would be if you went to the retailer directly.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a normal link with a tracking code attached. When you click it, the retailer records that the visit came from us. If you then buy something, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale – usually a few percent – out of their own margin.
It costs you nothing. It doesn’t change the price, the shipping, the returns policy, or anything else about your purchase. The retailer’s own terms and privacy policy apply to what you do on their site, not ours.

Styli Casa is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
Other programs
We also participate in affiliate programs run by other retailers and brands in the home, furniture, and decor space, either directly or through affiliate networks. The specific partners change over time.
How we mark affiliate links
Where an article contains affiliate links, you’ll see a disclosure at the top of the page, above the content, before you reach any of the links.
If an article has no affiliate links, it carries no disclosure. We don’t put a blanket notice on every page, because a disclosure that’s always there is a disclosure nobody reads.
Advertising
Separately from affiliate links, we display advertisements on this site. Ads are served by third-party advertising partners and are not chosen by us. An ad appearing next to an article is not an endorsement of that product by Styli Casa.

Sponsored content and gifted products
If we are ever paid to publish an article, or receive a product free of charge to feature or review, we will say so clearly and prominently on that specific page – labelled as sponsored, paid, or gifted.
We will not publish paid content that isn’t labelled.
Our editorial independence
This is the part that actually matters, so we want to be direct about it.
Commission does not buy coverage. We decide what to write about and what to recommend based on what we think is useful to readers. A brand cannot pay us to be included in a roundup, to be ranked higher, or to have criticism removed.
We will tell you when something isn’t worth it. If a product is overpriced, poorly made, or wrong for most people, we’ll say so – including when we have an affiliate relationship with the seller.
Not everything we recommend earns us anything. Plenty of the products and ideas we suggest have no affiliate program at all. We include them because they’re the right answer.
Prices and availability change. Anything we mention about price, stock, or specification was accurate when written, but retailers change these constantly. Always check the current details on the retailer’s own page before buying.
What this means for you
Nothing you need to do. Read as normal. If you’d rather not use our affiliate links, you’re welcome to search for any product directly on the retailer’s site instead – it makes no difference to the content you get here.
If you do use them, it genuinely helps keep this site running, and we appreciate it.
